Description

Be ready to converge with the SmartNode and 3CX focused technical certification online course, SmartNode1K-3CX. Based on the SmartWare™ Release 6.X operating system, this course provides the in-depth knowledge you need to install, configure and support the complete line of SmartNode™ VoIP products for 3CX phone system applications.

The course covers theory and implementation, including detailed training on SIP, network planning, configuration, and troubleshooting. Hands-on activities cover network analysis, and VoIP troubleshooting with live end-to-end calls with SmartNode™ devices in combination with a 3CX phone system. The training will be completed with an online theoretical and hands on test of 1.5 hours each.

Duration

4 Days. The course is split into 8 module , averaging a length of 2 hours each. A 3 hour certification test will complete the training.

Prerequisites

The student should have a good working knowledge of IP, LAN networking, and telephony technologies. For the hands-on lab work, each student is asked to use a local installed SmartNode 41XX or 46XX. To succeed in this course and pass the certification exam, you must possess substantial background knowledge and hands-on experience in IP, VoIP and telephony networking protocols. For the online certification test, a written identification with copy of a Identity document, e.g. passport, is required.

Course Objectives

Upon successful completion of the course, the student will be able to install, configure and maintain the Patton SmartNode™ product line in order to implement and troubleshoot a 3CX phone system with Patton ISDN and analog gateway.
