Patton Stimulates Analog VoIP Market with Price Cuts on SmartNode FXS Gateways
Patton, an industry leader in the VoIP Gateway market has recently announced reduced pricing on the SmartNode 4110 VoIP Gateway Series. Price reductions are as high as 20 to 40 percent for distributors, resellers and end user customers. This large price break will undoubtedly move many customers over to the Patton product lineup.
Burton A. Patton, Executive Vice President states that “Recent technology and process innovations at Patton have brought substantial cost-savings in our analog gateway production. Over the years our customers have stood by us through all the economic storms. During the present global economic downturn, it makes perfect sense to pass our savings along to those who have sustained our business through those other tough times.”
In a nutshell the idea here is to make it easy for business owners to allocate capital towards converting their current phone systems over to a VoIP IP-PBX. For those of you who are unfamiliar with FXS VoIP Gateways, this device will allow you to use traditional analog phones with a VoIP Phone system. With this you can save the capital you may have needed to spend on VoIP Phones with other systems. This may possibly be enough to upgrade your current analog system to a VoIP IP PBX.
